Scoff Skateboardings latest move to try to help out skaters in need of laces. We break our laces everyday to every week. And it blows being left with a shredded up lace tied in who knows how many knots. We know, we invented the Skatelace. The best lace constructed since sliced bread!
All of our skatelaces our manually reinforced, and are therefore are eligible to defects. But they go through a rigorous process to make sure there up to strength before there package and sent to your local shops.
But as for the defect laces who don't make it, either it be because of dead spots on the lace, color, or something else. Its discarded to the side and left alone.
Well we thought we would do something for the environment and RECYCLE! So any skater who sends us their old worn out, broken, and knotted laces, will get a free discarded pair of Scoff Skatelaces (hey they may not be super strong, or the most perfect pair of laces but they'll take care of you through the week!)
You can also email us a pic of your destroyed laces and be entered into our contest which happens weekly and you get your pic featured on the website along with one pair of our new HCF Skatelaces!
Rules and Conditions
Scoff will replace any old and naturally worn out laces you send us. To qualify your lace has to be broken at least once somewhere along the lace. If you send us 1 lace we’ll send you 1 lace back, if you send us a pair of broken laces we’ll send you a pair of our discarded laces back. Its that easy!
You can send UP TO 2 PAIRS of laces a week, per household. If we receive more than 2 pairs of laces in a week from you or your house, they will not be replaced.
So send your shredded laces to this address:

Also if you have an absolutely crappy pair of laces you can get a fresh new set of Scoff HCF Skatelaces on us! All you need to do is send us a photo of your laces (still on the shoe) to brokenlaces@scoffskateboarding.com along with your Full Name and Address. If we think you have the worst looking set of laces we’ll post your photo up on the website and send you a fresh new pair for your kicks. Winners will be posted once a week.
